Shanxi Province: project of the new carbon black production line with the annual output of 2×30,000t, by Shanxi Lixin Chemical and Engineering Co., Ltd. It will install a new carbon black production line with the annual output of 2×30,000t, a tar processing production line with the annual output of 150,000t, and a comprehensive exhaust utilization power generation assembly and ancillary interconnection facilities. Once put into use, it can produce 60,000 tons of carbon black and process 150,000 tons of tar annually and extract high value-added chemical products including light oil, absorber oil and crude naphthalene from the by-products while making use of 518,400,000 square meters carbon black exhaust and generating 43,200,000kwh electricity. In short, the project reduces pollutant emissions and saves energy by fully utilizing carbon black exhaust and waste heat. It is predicted that the project can reduce greenhouse gas emission by 76,951 tCO2e every year.
