 Hubei Province: the biomass comprehensive utilization project by Sanjie Agribusiness Co., Ltd. The project is mainly to build the biomass power generation system by using chaff and straw as raw materials with installed capacity of 2000 KW, including the installment of biomass gasification units as well as cooling, purification and conveying units. Once completed, it can not only generate 14.4 million kWh electricity and 24000 tons of vapor annually, but also produce 7200 tons of biomass charcoal, 500 cubic meters biomass vinegar and 2.5 tons of tar every year by making use of the waste. The project belongs to the category of renewable energy. Once put into operation, it is estimated to reduce greenhouse gases emission by 9,831 tCO2e annually.
