Guangxi Province: Daxin County Xialei Hydropower Station Construction Project by Daxin Branch of Guangxi Water Resources & Electric Power Group Co., Ltd. The project is to build a hydropower station with the installed gross capacity of 12,500kw, composed of 2 generator units with the standalone capacity of 5,000kw and 1 generator unit with the standalone capacity of 2,500kw. It is estimated to generate electricity of 44,340,000kwh annually. The project can reduce carbon emission by producing electricity through hydraulic power rather than thermal power. It belongs to the category of new energy and renewable energy sources. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gases emission by 25,793 tCO2e annually.
