Chongqing Municipality: Maotanhe River Sancengyan Peak Hydropower Station Construction Project in Shizhu County by Chongqing Shineneg Power Generation Co., Ltd. The project is to build a storage-type hydropower station with the installed gross capacity of 16MW, composed of 2 generator units with the standalone capacity of 8,000kw, with the estimated annual energy output of 48,550,000kwh. The project can reduce carbon emission by producing electricity through hydraulic power rather than thermal power. It belongs to the category of new energy and renewable energy sources. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gases emission by 35,316tCO2e annually.
