Hunan Province: the Metallurgical Gas Recycle and Power Generation Project by Lianyuan Steel Group Corporation. The project will dismantle the existing inefficient gas-fired boilers and generator units and install 2 sets of efficient 110t/h blast furnace gas boilers and 2 sets of 25MW generators and ancillary equipment. It can reduce carbon emission by recycling blast furnace gas to generate electricity. Once put into operation, it is estimated to have an annual energy output of 400 million kWh with the annual power supply volume of 371.08 million kWh. The project belongs to the category of energy conservation and efficiency improvement. Once put into operation, its can cut greenhouse gases emission by 227,734tCO₂e annually.
