Jiangsu Province: Pure-Oxygen-Fuel Combustion Furnace Energy-saving Transformation Project by Jiangsu Far East Opto Company Limited. The project will install a pure-oxygen-fuel furnance, a batching system and a cooling fan, as well as an air separation refrigeration station, and build a batch house of 2,000 square meters. It will replace the existing inefficient combustion technology and at the same time reduce the carbon dioxide and other pollutants emissions. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. Once put into operation, it is expected to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 39,883 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO₂e) annually.
