This project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 50 million yuan on March 16, 2016. The project includes installing a new energy vehicle battery and controller assembly workshop, a research and development center and an experiment base, with the total area of 19,800 square meters; purchasing 198 sets of production, experimental and R&D equipment; and building relevant ancillary facilities. The new energy vehicles assembled in the project will replace gasoline or diesel-fueled vehicles, thus reducing exhaust emissions and carbon emission. The project belongs to the category of new energy equipment and material manufacturing. It will leverage RMB 170 million yuan of private funds. After put into operation, it is estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emission by 8,033 tCO2e annually.
