Shaanxi Province: Binxian Country Central Heating Project by Bin County Heating Co., Ltd.

The project will transform the two sets of 200MW condensing generators of Huadian Yaochi Power Plant by installing 59 heat exchange stations, 20km of main heating pipe network, 14km of branches and relevant ancillary facilities. It will reach the heating capacity of 5,200,300 m². The project uses the afterheat steam of Huadian Yaochi Coal Comprehensive Utilization Power Plant for heat supply to enterprises and households in the urban area of Bin County. It will replace coal-fired small boilers and thus reduce carbon emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 43,067 tCO₂e annually.
