Hebei Province: the energy-efficient ring cooler and waste heat cogeneration system research and development and promotion project by Hebei Tangshan Heavy Equipment Group Co., Ltd. The project is to install a production line of agglomeration based energy efficient ring coolers ("ring coolers") with annual output of 20 sets. The ring coolers can take full advantage of the waste heat created in the agglomeration process to generate electricity and apply the saved energy into reproduction to improve energy efficiency. The project belongs to the category of energy-efficient equipment manufacturing. Once put into production, it is estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emission by 138,179 tCO₂e annually.
