The duplex iron smelting process used in the project can reduce the coke consumption by 37,500 tons, compared to the pig iron cold metal casting process. By using the surplus blast furnace gas, it helps reduce waste of resources and alleviate environmental pressures. The project belongs to the category of new energy saving and efficiency improving. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas by 194,571 tCO₂e annually. ？？
