The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 68 million yuan on July 3, 2015. It mainly includes purchasing 603 new energy and clean energy buses, planning relevant bus routes and building ancillary infrastructure. By replacing the traditional fuel buses, it will reduce energy consumption and exhaust emission, thus reducing carbon emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private capital amounting to RMB 186.2 million yuan. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 2,258tCO2e annually.
