Shanxi Province: Qixian County Natural Gas Utilization Expansion Project by Shanxi Qixian County Jieyuan Natural Gas Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 40 million on March 15, 2016. The project includes installing 168 km of medium-pressure natural gas pipelines covering six townships and towns in Qixian County, and building 110 regulator stations and relevant ancillary stations. It helps substitute natural gas for coal and LPG, thus reducing greenhouse gas emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It will leverage RMB 166 million yuan of private funds. Once put into operation, it is estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emission by 105,623 tCO2e annually.
