Shaanxi Province: Binxian County Urban Central Heating Project by Binxian County Heating Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 65 million yuan on September 14, 2015. The project mainly includes using the excess steam of Huadian Yaochi Coal Comprehensive Utilization Power Plant to provide heating to enterprises and households in the urban area of Binxian County, replacing self-built coal-fired small boilers. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private capital amounting to RMB 165 million yuan. Once put into operation, it can increase the area of heat-supply service by 5,200,300 square meters and is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 43,067tCO₂e annually.
