Jiangsu Province: 2×400MW Yixing Gas Heat-Electricity Cogeneration Project by Jiangsu Guoxin Xielian Gas Heat-Electricity Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 60 million yuan on September 15, 2015. It is the first "gasification" 9F gas turbine heat-electricity cogeneration demonstration project in Jiangsu. It mainly includes installing two sets of 400MW gas-steam combined cycle heating units and accessory equipment on the basis of the existing 2×135MW plant. It will replace the current small coal-fired units, and thus effectively reduce the fuel consumption and pollution emission, improving the air quality and promoting the sustainable development of the urban and surrounding areas. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private funds amounting to RMB 1,897.45 million yuan. Once put into operation, it can  generate electricity of 4,240GWh, supply heat of 6,760,000GJ and cut greenhouse gas emission by 558,878tCO2e annually.
