Jiangsu Province: New Energy Plug-in Hybrid Bus Promotion Project by Yangzhou Public Transport Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 69 million yuan on September 15, 2015. It mainly includes purchasing 339 new energy plug-in hybrid buses and 25 LNG clean energy buses. By adopting the hybrid buses, it can effectively reduce the fuel consumption and exhaust emission, therefore improving the air quality and promoting the sustainable development of the urban and surrounding areas. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private funds amounting to RMB 181 million yuan. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 2,371tCO2e annually.
