Shaanxi Province: Urban and Rural Energy-saving Lighting Construction Project by Pucheng Tongli Municipal Works Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 40 million yuan on March 25, 2016. It mainly includes establishing and transforming the current road and highway lighting system of Pucheng County. The project uses the efficient LED lighting devices to replace the high pressure sodium lamps and other traditional lighting devices, to increase the efficiency of  electricity utilization and reduce energy consumption. Therefore, it can reduce greenhouse gas emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private funds amounting to RMB 173.41 million yuan. Once put into operation, it can save electricity by 24,200,000kWh and is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 18,552tCO2e annually.
