Jiangsu Province: 2×200MW Gas Turbine Heat-Electricity Cogeneration Project by Jiangsu Huadian Tongzhou Heat and Power Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 60 million yuan on March 29, 2016. It mainly includes installing two sets of E-level gas-steam combined cycle heat-electricity cogeneration units and at the same time building the ancillary heat supply pipe network. It will use the clean energy to replace the current small coal-fired units, and thus effectively reduce the fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emission and other emissions, improving the air quality and promoting the sustainable development of the urban and surrounding areas. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private funds amounting to RMB 1,513.85 million yuan. Once put into operation, it can  generate electricity of 2.469 billion kWh, supply heat of 2,848,000GJ and cut greenhouse gas emission by 143,926tCO2e annually.
