Jiangxi Province: Natural Gas Pipe Network Project Phase I by Jiangxi Province Natural Gas (Gan.Tou.Qi.Tong.) Holding Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 300 million yuan on April 28, 2016. It mainly includes installing part of the 680 km pipelines across Jiangxi of the Sichuan to East Gas Transmission. Once completed, it can supply gas to cities including Nanchang, Jiujiang and Jingdezhen. The project transmits natural gas to replace coal, liquefied petroleum gas and other fuels to reduce carbon emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private funds amounting to RMB 2,287.96 million yuan. Once put into operation, it has the potential to cut greenhouse gas emission by 2,051,803tCO2e annually.
