Henan Province: Zhengzhou City Third Ring Road Bus Rapid Transit Construction Project by Henan Zhengzhou Public Transport Corporation

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 300 million yuan on May 10, 2016. The project mainly includes reconstruction of certain roads, construction of bus stations, purchase of buses, intelligent public transport system, water supply and drainage, power supply, transport engineering and lighting. By adopting the LNG hybrid buses, it can effectively reduce the fuel consumption and exhaust emission, therefore improving the air quality and promoting the sustainable development of the urban and surrounding areas. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private funds amounting to RMB 881.35 million yuan. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 43,914tCO2e annually.
