Henan Province: Green Bus Project by Zhumadian City Public Transport Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 57 million yuan on June 29, 2016. It mainly includes purchasing 210 BEV buses to replace the current 28 "yellow label (heavy-polluting)" diesel buses, and building the supporting facilities such as bus stations, parking lots, charging piles and gas stations. As such, it can effectively reduce the vehicle energy consumption and exhaust emission, thus cutting down greenhouse gas emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private funds of RMB 105.96 million yuan. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 2,651tCO2e annually.
