Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region: Naphthalene Products Production Project with Annual Output of 31,000 Tons by Inner Mongolia Wuhai Yadong Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 65 million yuan on June 13, 2016. Its main objective is to produce 31,000 tons of naphthalene products every year, including 9,000 tons of Tobias-acid, 4,000 tons of J-acid, 4,000 tons of sulpho Tobias acid, 3,000 tons of G-salt, 1,000 tons of gamma acid and 10,000 tons of direct dye. By using the advanced energy-saving technology and efficient equipment, such as the application of the MVR technology in the effluent treatment, use of the byproduct steam to drive the fan, and supply of coke oven gas to the thermal oil furnace, it can effectively reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage private capital of RMB 466.09 million yuan. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 44,072tCO2e annually.
