Jiangsu Province: Suining County Household Refuse Incineration Power Generation Project by Suining County Baoyuan New Energy Power Generation Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 69 million yuan on July 28, 2016. It mainly includes installing 2 sets of mechanical grate furnaces with daily capacity of 350 tons of waste and flue gas cleaning device as well as a 12MW extracting-and-condensing turbine-generator and supporting facilities. Through power generation by waste incineration to replace fossil fuel, it will avoid producing marsh gas in the landfill and reduce greenhouse gas emission. The project belongs to the category of alternative energy. It can leverage RMB 166.15 million yuan of private funds. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 89,403tCO2e annually.
