Inner Mongolia: Central Heating Project in Togtoh Industrial Park by Inner Mongolia Zhengxin Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.
The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 68 million yuan on October 28, 2016. It mainly includes installing two steam heating networks with the total length of 12.1 km and supporting condensing pipelines with the length of 7.23 km in the west area of Togtoh Industrial Park; and installing 7.3 km of heat supply pipes and 9 hot water heating stations in the east area of the Park. The design steam load is 640 tons per hour and the heating area covers 1 million square meters. By introducing the heat supply network to replace the coal-fired boilers around the area, it can provide steam for industrial use and central heating at the same time through combined heat and power generation. Therefore, it will not only improve energy efficiency but also reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage RMB 334.21 million yuan of private funds. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gas emission by 269,873tCO2e annually.
