Urban Food Waste Collection, Transportation and Disposal Project by Yancheng Daji Environment Technology Co., Ltd

The project was approved by China CDM Fund with concessional loan of RMB 14 million on December 26, 2018. The project is mainly about building a new production line which is able to collect and dispose food waste of 100 tons daily, 12 food waste garbage trucks, 5 wasted oil and fat collecting vehicles and relevant facilities. When finished, the project will annually collect and dispose food wastes of 36,500 tons, and annually product biogas of 1.46 million cubic meters and crude oil of 1,241 tons. The project belongs to the category of waste comprehensive utilization. It can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by avoiding the emission of methane produced from landfill. When the project is put into production, 11,911 tCO₂e of greenhouse gas emission estimated will be reduced annually.
