Luxi-Mile-Kaiyuan Branch Natural Gas Pipeline Construction Project of Honghe Energy Investment Natural Gas Industry Development Co., Ltd.

The project was approved concessional loan of RMB 69 million from China CDM Fund on November 21 2019 and guaranteed by CEB (China Everbright Bank) Kunming Branch.

The major construction under the project is a natural gas transmission pipeline with a total length of 156.83km, 3 new stations and 7 monitoring valve rooms. The project is classified into clean energy development and utilization. When completed, it will provide clean natural gas for downstream users, reduce the use of coal and oil in the natural gas supply area, and optimize local energy mix. It’s estimated to have an average annual reduction of 52,050 tCO2e of greenhouse gas emissions.
