On March 2, 2020, the project was approved with the China CDM Fund concessional loan of RMB 69 million, guaranteed by the Zhengzhou Branch of Industrial Bank.
The main component of the project is to build 2 new waste incineration treatment lines with daily capacity of 500 tons and 2 sets of 10 MW condensing steam turbine generator unit with related plants and supporting production facilities. The project belongs to the category of comprehensive utilization of resources. After the project is completed, it could treat 365,000 tons of household waste and generate on-grid power of 107 million kWh annually. The project is categorized as comprehensive utilization of resources. It can effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and realize carbon reduction by processing household wastes to reduce environmental pollution and using boiler waste-heat to generate power.
